The Era of Jane Austen series is a comprehensive pictorial guide of etchings collected from one of the most influential periodicals of Austen’s lifetime – Ackermann's Repository of Arts. Ackermann’s Repository was published in London over two hundred years ago and it provided monthly etchings of exquisite hand-painted plates featuring the latest fashions, furniture, needlework patterns and other assorted illustrations. Over 18,000 pages were published from 1809 to 1829 and the Era of Jane Austen series compiles these hand-painted plates with the accompanying original descriptions.

Jane Austen's major novels were first published between 1811 and 1818: Sense and Sensibility (1811), Pride and Prejudice (1813), Mansfield Park (1814) and Emma (1815).  My books titled "in the Era of Jane Austen" feature etchings from 1809 to 1820 covering the whole Regency period. The books titled "After the Era of Jane Austen" include the etchings published in the late Georgian period (1821-1828).

The Era of Jane Austen series makes over 600 etchings available in five paperback and Kindle books.
